Paramount Aerospace has established a unique aviation training academy in South Africa for the training of military pilots from Ab-Initio through to supersonic fast Jet (Top Gun Fighter Pilots), transport and helicopter pilots. Equipped with SF 260 aerobatic capable trainers, Aermacchi - MB 326 jet trainers and F1 Mirage supersonic jet fighters formerly operated by the SAAF. The academy also specialises in Advanced Rotary Wing training and Operational Transport pilot training. Training starts with an interview and pilot selection process.
A three year technical training programme for military artisans in aircraft mechanical, engines and avionic fields. On completion of the course the candidates further their studies in specific aircraft type training.
